MRS HARRISON-CECIRE'S GRADE TWO/Three CLASS
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the students to grade two/three. They are now pro’s at this process and it should not take them long to get used to the routines.
An agenda will be used as a way to organize your child and as a form of communication between you and myself. Any homework, assignments, or newsletters will be placed inside the agenda. If you have any notes or messages you would like me to receive, please feel free to write them in the agenda.
As the year progresses and the fall weather approaches, the students will require a pair of indoor shoes that are to be left at school. This will prevent them from not having shoes to wear because they left them at home.
As you may have experienced last year, it is very easy to loose items in the shuffle of day to day items. This is why it is very important to label everything your child brings to school. This includes such things as coats, boots, shoes, pencils, lunch boxes, markers, scissors, etc. This will ensure that the item will go home with the proper owner.
It is requested this year that no peanut products be sent for snacks or lunch.
If your child is going home in a different fashion than usual ( e.g. usually takes the bus, but someone is picking him/her up) I would appreciate a note stating this. This will make things easier at dismissal time.
This year we are on a Mon-Fri schedule and not a six day schedule.
Tuesday - outdoor gym
Wednesday and Thursday - indoor gym
Wednesday - Library
Since it is very hard to reach me during the day, you can contact me at [email protected] .
I look forward to having a fun and educational year with your child and to meeting you at some point in the future.
Sincerely,
Tammy Harrison-Cecire
